In the spring of 1820, fourteen year old Joseph Smith Jr. was visited by God The Eternal Father and His Son Jesus Christ. The Restoration of the Ancient Religion known to Adam had commenced. On June 27, 1844, the Restoration was interrupted by the murder of the Prophet Joseph Smith and his brother – and his chosen successor – Hyrum Smith the Patriarch. After decades of darkness and apostasy a Light has begun to shine forth. The Restoration has recommenced.
