Why Do I Blog?

This blog is for sharing my devotion to Christ and his teachings.  I will share truth as I find it.  I will expose false, vain and foolish doctrines, philosophies, traditions and teachings of men that will damn the souls of all who believe them.  I hope you will be persuaded by the Holy Spirit.  I hope you will seek, ask and knock to know the truth for yourself.  God is the source of all Truth.

This blog will come as a surprise to those who know me.  I have been a faithful, active, tithe paying, 100% home teaching member of the Mormon Church for decades.  Baptized at the age of eight.  Served a two year mission.  Married in the temple.

I also had periods of inactivity.  The Spirit of God called me back to the church and now He's calling me out of it.  I am not leaving my religion or faith.  In fact I'm embracing it more fervently. Can that be done outside the organized church you ask?  Not only can I more fervently embrace the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ but I can do so without any structured or correlated teachings designed to worship a well paid church hierarchy.  I am now truly free to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of my own conscience.

I do not cover myself with the cloak of anonymity.  I believe what I post and I attach my name to it.  I fully expect to give an accounting of my conduct to my Savior.
